Dr. Sankar is a great surgeon. He took the time to thoroughly examine me and give me the proper explanation to my condition. Would highly recommend!

My daughter has several medical issues beyond her DDH. I saw several surgeons before Dr. Sankar. Not one took as much time with me and got us in as quickly. Other surgeons were quick to suggest major surgeries, some far more invasive than others, all without detailed explanation of why. I understand that a Surgeons bedside manner is different than a Doctor's. And I'm not looking for a best friend, I'm looking for the best possible person to look after my child. Dr. Sankar didn't just take the time to explain DDH, but the surgeries, options and how her growth ( or in our case, lack there of ) would effect her before, during and after. I couldn't be happier with her care and look forward to continuing our care with someone who cares so much about my child.

Dr. Sankar is great! He has been my daughters ortho doc since she was 6 months old! He's thorough and truly cares about the patients well being!

If I could I would give 0 stars. I'm 17 years old and have a hip condition where my tendon is overly tight and needs to be lengthened to elevate the pain. Its considered rare so it's not easy finding a doctor. I was referred to him by Rothman and was unhappy with the results. I have not been able to be a kid for 3 years because I am always in pain. He was very ignorant and did not care to listen to what I had to say at all. I would not reccommend him. I had to wait 2 hours to be seen and after waiting for him he couldn't give me the courtesy to listen to what I had to say.
