The bed sheets were not clean. There was hair on them. My guess is that we were staying one night and house keeping did not bother to change the sheets from the previous guest. Bathroom was clean. Staff were friendly. Wine bar downstairs was nice. Breakfast was ok.

Although it was a monday night at 8pm, the restaurant, Panorama, was full...usually a good sign. It was restaurant week in Philly, but many diners looked like regulars. The building and dining area had a distinct odor of dirty, wet dish towels, an immediate turn off, but nothing that a few glasses of wine didn't fix. Service, overall, was polite but somewhat impersonal and slow. The food, overall was good, but not exceptional. Some standouts were the lobster/crab crepes which were beautifully balanced, and the basil donuts were to die for. I would go back, but it would be casually and not as my destination. On a good note, it is very close to some great parking and in a walkable location to Olde City attractions.

This was a great place. Rooms were very authentic looking but yet moder emenities. What was really special was the way they could keep the 1700''s feel while still providing a full compliment of upto date things like...a jacuzzi tub and nice touches in the rooms. Will definitely go back to this gem. We would also suggest the bar with an award winning selection of wines.

Panorama restaurant attached to the hotel is pretty good. Definitely an expensive meal and not too many vegetarian options. Other than that, a great experience overall. Great service and delicious food. An extremely large wine selection too choose from is available too.

A very nice, relaxing hotel with an old school charm. The tub with jets was amazing and the layout of the room was perfect. A short walk to the liberty bell and right by The water? The place is a steal and I told all my friends they should stay here when in PA.
