I was expecting a great view of the city but that was non existent. I ordered a simple rum and coke the hostess didn't return for almost 30 minutes, i didn't ask why. Killed my mood. The bouncers were brutes who will turn you away if your cuff links aren't golden clad with diamonds..jerks. Luckily i made the cut but many others were not fit to enter. Overall its ok here.

One in our party had the wrong footwear on and we were turned away. This business lost out on about $200-$300 from our group. We had a great time at the bar down the street anyway.

I really like the atmosphere of this place. Only wish the had drink specials. Typical drinks are $15.

The wardrobe requirements are left up to interpretation by the power hungry bouncers. As a top tier Kimpton customer I would think I know Kimpton’s expectation of style, but the two jerks downstairs have their own option. I would say avoid the place, view is not great, nor is the staff. R2L, Continental downtown, or Vango Roof top will deliver better views with better atmosphere. If those don’t work try Skygarden, or The Logan Hotel.

It's a nice swanky spot. Good drinks, I thought the food was okay. I enjoyed my mushroom dish I ordered I tasted some of the duck and seafood...that could have been better.
