Lunch with friends before the theater (01.12.2017 11:25)
with a block to the Arden Theater, we opted to have lunch at the Continental prior to the matinee. we were not disappointed. Five of us, some with special diets, all had a wonderful lunch in this Diner type restaurant on Market Street, Food was wonderful, prices good and exceptional service, even asking us if we were going to the theater and if so we were entitled to a 10% discount. Servers were all considerate and gracious.. will go back again, next time in the City.

More than we could eat (01.12.2017 11:25)
My wife and I walked to continental from the Wyndham on arch St. The several block walk was pleasant and upon arrival we were greeted with kindness. Our waitress told us of several dishes that were recommended and stated that we might want to share. We had the continental salad and steak and cheese egg roll. Glad we shared, because taking back to a hotel is a drag. The food was delicious and the bread pudding for dessert could not have been better at a four star restaurant.

I had a very delicious bacon cheeseburger and a terrific martini. The restaurant had a nice sort of 50s feel to it and I sat at the bar and had a great conversation with a perfect stranger. Nice place to just hang out and grab a bite to eat.
