I use to love this place. Today, the chicken taste process. And the shrimp seafood had no taste.

L'etage = "the floor" in French. The name definitely fits this place. Bring your A game and those sweet sweet moves.

This place is located in the Bella Vista area of Philadelphia, and caters to a flurry of different crowds, so it'll definitely be entertaining if anything. It's tucked away so just look around for the signage displayed prominently high and outside it's doors.

CAUTION: it is a walk up so be sure you'll be able to climb those stairs in case this isn't your first stop in any unofficial bar crawl you've formulated.

I made it there a little after midnight on a Saturday night. The neighborhood has many different shops and eateries so earlier in the night I'm sure it was littered with crowds. However, by the time I got there, I found parking right around the corner (street parking is all that is available) which was great! What was not great, was that there there's a cover charge - BOO! The place closes at 2AM, so paying for a little over an hour to be inside was annoying!

Inside, the place is pretty cramped. The bar is on the right side looking in, and there are tables/booth towards the back. Also in the back, there is a large area on a "stage" that can be set up for bottle service and/or reserved for any sort of partying for you and your group. The night my friends and I were there, there was a 30th birthday party going on in the stage area - the small space seemed that much smaller since we didn't have access to where the birthday party was happening.

Getting drinks is a bit of a hassle, and there was only one bartender (that I could see) for a busy night. We waited for a little before being able to place our orders, and then moseyed on over towards the back (drinks in hand) where there was more space. The drinks were decent, though given the busy bar getting any more than one is going to be a tall order.

That being said, the DJ was spinning some pretty fire beats - circa late 90s to early 00s, so everybody was going off! I'm sure you all want to be reminded now and again why MIMS is hot (=P!) The music is what kept us at the location until last call. Also, towards the end, the stage area opened up and, coupled with people leaving, the space really felt more comfortable..

I would recommend this place in case you just want a night out with a bunch of friends - nothing too fancy, just you and the floor - bringing down the house. Be prepared for stairs, and crowds if you arrive early. Hopefully decent music can help dilute any annoyances [such as a cover charge :(.]

Good service in a nice setting. Unfortunately when we visited there were some big groups that made it very noisy. The crepe options are varied and you can always build your own but I found them a little overpriced. If you are hungry, definitely go for their burger.

Came here for our 2 year anniversary. Good was delicious, and creative, played beautifully. Very good service, chef came out to greet each table individually. Truly one of the best meals I've ever had, highly recommend it.

Love this place! Authentic Philadelphia food and authentic French staff. Every time I try something new and it's always as good, if not better, than some cafes in Philadelphia. My Philadelphia husband agrees. In fact, Creeper Beau Monte is always at least half filled with Philadelphia phones so it's safe to say it's authentic and good. Today I had the vegetable soup and Ha chis Patienter. Perfect for a rainy day in PA and I'm still thinking about this meal hours latter wishing I had more.
