Please don't waste your money. From what I've read in the past this place was once a gem. Unfortunately that is no longer the case. The decor was outdated but homey. The food was uneatable and extremely overpriced. We had the fried fish platter and fried crab cake. The food had a complete lack of seasoning the fried flounder was old and dry. The famous crab cake was bland and smelled pungent. After nibbling around our food we waited for our server and she noticed we didn't eat. She didn't say anything about the food which makes me think this a common occurance. I don't know how this place is still open.

Best seafood in Philadelphia. Quite casual and great service. Crabs are the specialty. Try the famous crab soup.

Customer service was great. I only ordered appetizers; cool, but no soooo. I'm willing to return, but I will order an entree to give them a second chance.

I should have paid attention to the like warm Google rating. From the outside, the place looks like way cooler than it actually is. The menu was unimpressive and overpriced. The cocktail tasted like flavored seltzer water and the entrees were small, poorly prepared, and underwhelming. The most redeeming part of the meal were the oysters on the half shell (5 for $13). It is hard to mess up something that requires no cooking.
We originally went for the crabs, but at $13/ea. for blue claw, we just passed and ate crab imperial/sauteed crab. Did I mention it was underwhelming??
I would skip this place.
