Old school decor, tuxedo wearing waiters, good service, though they seemed understaffed on a busy Saturday night. Pretty basic Italian menu. Well prepared, reasonably priced. Very nice wine list.

Excellent, old world Italian cuisine and service in an elegant environment. Really enjoyed the restaurant week menu and excellent wines.

My husband and I dined here for our first wedding anniversary. We were in town visiting good friends and we were so glad to have received this restaurant recommendation from the concierge at our hotel. When we arrived, the owner greeted us and congratulated us on our anniversary. He sat us at a special table and every server who came by wished us a happy anniversary as well. The service was excellent and our glasses were never empty. I highly recommended this restaurant on all counts! You won't be disappointed!

You want authentic, hand crafted formal Italian food with classic service in an elegant but still small and gracious setting in Philadelphia...well this is it. Fantastic dishes overseen and made by Chef /Owner, served on fine China by an experienced staff. The wine list is, no joke, about 7 inches thick presenting perhaps one of the finest cellars in the Mid-Atlantic area. There are not enough stars for this place that's just celebrated its 40th anniversary, and is still family owned and cared for. You will need a reservation except sometimes at lunch. Book now!
