Wow, what a great pizza. Nice family run place with fresh ingredients and well balanced flavors. Wish they were closer to where I live.

The pizza is great when ordered fresh by the pie. Slices are highly variable in size and quality. Prices for slices are too high. Just order a whole pie if you want anything from them.

Their Grandma's pizza is the best. This place has some really good food.

They food over the last year has gotten awful. The French fries has to be the worst in University City by far. The service lately been full of attitude, who ever takes the order never know what's on they own menu. The platters on the menu consist of coleslaw but once the food arrives without the coleslaw. They need to turn it up because the competition is heavy in the area for fast food.

I enjoy going to Powelton Pizza once or twice a month. It's a very laid-back, quiet local pizzeria. While the restaurant is not very spacious, most of their business is done via deliveries, so there's always a table to sit at. I regularly bring in 2 or 3 people, and we've never had a problem getting a table.
The food is very good, and tends to be priced a bit cheaper than the pizzerias a few blocks east. The staff is also very friendly.
