Location: It's an Uber ride from downtown area. I wouldn't wander around the area after my meal, but I'm not from Philly.
Restaurant: It's straight forward. They have yellow humming lights covering the outdoor seating, it gives the feel of being at the county fair, but doesn't do anything to complement the food.
Food: Messy, gooey and delicious. It was better than I expected and I finished the rest of my girlfriends sandwich as well. Onions, mushrooms, cheese and steak everywhere.
Overall: I was told that it was the best by my Uber driver and I didn't have the chance to try the competition. It was a fun finish to a long day and they are open late 2a on weekends. I don't know if I would do it again as I've had better sandwiches but it was a worth-it experience for an out-of-towner.

Fantastic, diverse Philly clientele, and very good food. I'd say it was too expensive to warrant more stars, though. We paid $25 for two cheesesteaks and one iced tea, and that was pickup at the counter. A good experience, but not worth repeating-- at least for me.

Highly recommended to me but I didn't see the hubbub. Very small amount of meat. Almost no cheese. Cheese steak I ordered was very good not great. Large crowd for a weeknight but food was served very fast. If it wasn't so expensive in would go back.

Been here 3-4 times and I just can't say it's a true top tier. Still a great steak, lots of options and an all around great cheesesteak experience. Certainly a top competitor for a roast pork. Never a bad experience here.

Pros: order process was very quick even with a significant line. Received my food in a reasonable amount of time. Portion sizes were generous
Cons: my food was not very good and it was very expensive. I ordered a cheese steak with cheese fries and a mountain dew and it came to $17. My cheese steak was OK, the meat was very bland, probably unseasoned. Fries were not good. They were very soft, borderline undercooked. They were pushing out orders so fast I assume they were putting too many fries into the fryer too fast and it was cooling down the fryer oil, preventing the fries from cooking properly. "quality over quantity" is a lesson this restaurant could probably learn a lot from.
Not a terrible experience overall, but I will not be visiting again if I'm in the area.
