This place is fantastic. Food is delicious, wine selection is wonderful and the staff are attentive and very knowlegable. The bartender is charismatic and really makes me feel like I'm back in Italy. They also sell grappa...not something I can find everywhere! I would recommend this place for everything from a quick lunch to a full night out with that special someone. It's awesome!

We took our good friends out for a Birthday celebration - looking for that memorable yet comfortable experience! WOW - this place totally delivered! Amazing appetizers, great wine, unbelievably great pizza, and the pastas are incredible! The special of the day was Linguine Mare - OMG - it was to die for!! SO. FREAKING. GOOD. I mean... creme Brûlée For dessert? Nailed it! Do not miss this place - great service - remarkable food - comfortable ambiance - and... wait for it... it is SUPER REASONABLE! Say what? YUP! Very reasonable prices! Do yourself a favor and take yourself out to eat here!! 6 stars out of 5!!!

All these reviews seemed to be from the old location. I'm reviewing the new location. I sat at the bar. I didn't feel very welcomed. No smiles from the staff. No thank yous. After drinkless for 30 min, I had to flag someone down for a drink. Not a good place to watch sports. I'm sad to leave this review, since I live upstairs in the luxury apartments.

Forno 301 is a great place to go alone, with a friend or with your entire family. It is authentic Italian from the bruchetta to the cocktails. If you like feeling welcomed during dinner this is your spot. The pizzas are wood fired and all ingredients are top of the line and FRESH. The testosterone pizza is by far the best pizza I have tasted. Stop in and say hi to the owner at the bar he will befriend you in an instant. I feel like I am in downtown Italy every time I eat here.

The food is absolutely terrific, real Italian food and really, *really* good. However, the portions are small, the cost is somewhat high, and the little restaurant (while quaint) is generally packed and kept *way* too warm for comfort. However, I understand that Forno will be moving locations to central and McDowell, so this might solve both those issues. Luca and Mili are absolutely phenomenal, but Robert is absolutely worthless. Nice enough guy, but he doesn't seem to do anything. Customers first, flirting with the women second, Robert!
