Great public space. Well maintained and home to various free concerts and events by Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy. Take out restaurants are a bit pricey but reliable.

Friends from people Pittsburgh told me that this place used to be an old parking a lot. If that's true, that's amazing what they've done here. Other than the big green are where families can sit and relax, there are some food options available for its visitors. Unfortunately, Conflict Kitchen is closed since June 2017.

Nice sandwiches, great service. They were $10 per sandwich though, so a bit pricey. Still, absolutely lovely venue!

The place is called and quiet even though it's right besides the highway. Good restaurants porch being the costliest but good for an American dish. Conflict kitchen is special and waffalonia is amazing. There is alpoe of garden place to sit . Enough chairs if you want to bring your own food. Occasionally live music.
