Good place to grab a solid burrito. They will cost around $10 if you get some extras on it, but it’s large enough for a meal all it’s own

A North Side staple! El Burro has authentic Mexican food in addition to some twists on traditional cuisine. The rolled tacos are a MUST, and I love that they have vegetarian options besides just cheese and beans. Prices are reasonable for the portion sizes, and service is normally pretty quick! Definitely worth a stop if you're in the neighborhood.

Was very excited to see a vegan mexican option during my visit to the city. Extremely dry. No flavor, completely bland. I am not some high brow type, this just fell very short of my reasonable expectations. Big disappointment.

The Burritos were really filling, could use more spices but extremely filling and still great flavor. The tacos were packed with meat and they definitely accommodate you when you place togo orders. the veggies are fresh and the guacamole was amazing.

A real hole-in-the-wall place to get some decent Mexican. Decent is a relative term, especially for Mexican food in Pittsburgh. The burritos are good but nothing special. For a good amount of the burritos I feel the fillings do not compliment the rest of the burrito very well. The steak burritos are chewy since the steak seems to be, quite literally, just unseasoned flank steak cut into little bits with rather bland fillings added... The location is good for take-out as the interior is very small. The location is in a pretty seedy part of town and would not recommend parking your car or staying very long.
