Very small restaurant w/ a good atmosphere. Love that it's BYOB. Have yet to have a bad meal or bad service. Recommend making reservations.

I ate here the other night with friends and it was incredible. I had Carbonara and it was pretty much perfect. It wasn't too wet or too dry and there was a lot of pancetta included in the dish. I added cheese but I love cheese. I finished the entire bowl and it was ridiculously good. The servings are enough to fill you up and you aren't bombarded with tons of pasta.
My friends had the Bolognese and pasta with vodka sauce. Both were fantastic and I swear the vodka sauce tasted better by the end of our meal.
They gave us bread with oil and herbs and a fagiole spread, (Italian hummus). Both were so good. The salad appetizer is a really nice size and could even be split between two people. I say that but I don't LOVE salad like some of my friends do.
We brought a bottle of wine and with three entrees and one salad our bill was $60. The food was wonderful, the service was friendly and the prices were modest. It is my new favorite affordable, authentic Italian here in the Burgh.
