I happen to really like the Smiling Moose but it's also hit and miss for me. It's a little grimey (but it's a bar on the Southside so....) The food is really good, but sometimes it takes to long to come out and isn't as hot as I would like. Great beers on tap, but also extremely packed at times (it's kind of small). If I could give half stars it would definitely be a 3.5, but it's not a 4.

Best lip-smacking nachos I ever had! Toppings together sound strange but delish on the taste buds! (Can ask for jalopenos on the side.)
Soups are incredible! And sandwiches are memorably tasty and make you want to come back!

BE WARED! If you park in front, please be aware that your car could taken away. The bar doesn't seem to think about warning it's patrons. Also.....if you are going there for a show be prepared to wait A LONG TIME. They do not have their stuff together.

Really enjoyed the venue. Upstairs they have a stage, bar, and enough space to mingle and pack in the digits. Intimate setting.

This place made my trip to Pittsburgh worthwhile. Awesome service. Fun staff. Id go to Pittsburgh again just to go to this bar.
