Awful on every level.

I have wanted to write this review since the first day I made the mistake of visiting Aspen Dental, in fear of what they might do to me in the exam chair. Today was the last aggrivating time I will be going to Aspen, and so I can now write at length about what happened there.

1: Inconvenient & aggrivating- the last five times I have been summoned to the Aspen Dental offices, only twice have they bothered to put me in a chair for so much as an exam. As I take public transit, having to go to and fro each time kills solid hours in my day- and I do not enjoy wasting my time.

2: Rip-Off Artists- every time you sit down, they will charge you: 50-second discussion with a dental assistant, and yet another appointment, three weeks hence? fifty bucks! One digital x-ray? Hand over another 80 bucks!

3: Inconsistent payment policies- credit is given and witdrawn at a whim, with no explanation given. When my credit was bad, they extended me 1500 in credit. Five years later, my credit is improved- they won't even float 150 bucks, now, even though I've always paid off debts to Aspen on-time. I asked why, and got aggrivated shrieking in response.

4: Frighteningly unqualified doctors. The dentist I was condemned to at Aspen made repeated mistakes, left wads of hardened enamel hanging from my teeth that stab at my tongue, and seemed to enjoy hitting my nerve with a needle. His attempts at making his exam room more "hospitable" by adding a fish tank kinda went south, when the fish died, and he didn't even bother removing the dead goldfish for several weeks.

I will be going to another dentist, twice as far from my home- I will have to pay for a cab to get out there- but anything has got to be better than going to this house of terrors again.

Everyone was super nice and inviting. I didn't have to wait long for my appointment and it all seemed really thorough.

Absolutely the nicest and most helpful dentist office I've ever visited. I made my appointment online for the wrong day and didn't notice. I show up and instead of being turned away am squeezed in for an appointment (on a Friday no less!). ALL the staff were so kind and courteous. Everything was explained really well and went really smoothly. They are very quick and professional. Though I can not afford the treatment I need, I was shown some really helpful payment options and they were there to help me with every step of the process. This could have shaped up to be a bad day and it really meant a lot to me how helpful this office was. I highly recommend.

Everyone was friendly and welcoming!
The doctor explained things so I could understand what to expect!
I will be a happy Woman once my new teeth are done, Aspen makes it possible for anyone to be able to afford new dentures!

Wow! Despite my error in online scheduling they were able to fit me in as a new patient. Every person there was nice, respectful, and supportive. Costing a considerable amount less than previous dentists I will continue working with them to maintain my oral health. Treatment choices were clear and realistic. Will definitely be setting up appointments for the entire family.
