Having received care from several offices in the Portland & Brunswick area over the past forty-five years, I am pleased to now be a Giles Eyecare patient. Our family is receiving tip-top professional diagnosis & advice from Dr. Tracy Giles toward preserving our vision.
Jim, the resident optician, provides excellent personal service. On several occasions, he has suggested purchase options which not only provided us with high-quality lenses and frames, but also saved us money The office staff has always been very helpful in scheduling convenient appointments and facilitating insurance reimbursement.
It's good to trade with a locally owned & operated practice instead of at a franchise of a national chain. There's an underlying feeling that they appreciate our business and will do whatever's necessary to maintain our relationship.

This practice is absolutely terrible. Zero customer service skills-- especially at reception. The girl is very rude and completely clueless. I work at a local eye practice and always dread calling their office. Calling and requesting any paperwork will DEFINITELY take more than one phone call. Good luck!

I have been with Dr. Giles for YEARS now and wouldn't leave for anything. He is brilliant, professional, and so very good at what he does. He and his team always make me feel welcome and comfortable...

The staff and service at Giles Eye Care have been absolutely wonderful! Tracy himself is exceptionally knowledgeable and willing to take the time to explain issues and solutions in detail, and the staff has been wonderful about getting me in during eye emergencies. I feel absolutely confident about the quality of care that I have and will get there. I"ve been going there sporadically for a decade now, and I don't have a single complaint.

Giles eye care is great. Office staff are OK...Dr. Giles is terrific. He is very astute at explaining stuff relative to the knowledge level of his audience. Not condescending or long-winded. Down to earth. You can tell he is extremely knowledgeable and up to speed with what's going on in the optometry world.
The gentleman that fits glasses spent almost an hour with me trying to fit frames that worked for me. For the most part he cared how they looked more than I did, which I appreciated.
