Wow! Did it change ownership? Today was my fifth and last time there. The person who I assume was the owner previously was incredibly friendly, but I haven't seen him the past couple times there. Today I went with a couple of my co-workers, one of whom I owed a lunch to, so I bought lunch for all of us. Two burritos, an enchilada and a couple drinks - plus I've always added in a 15% tip when ordering there, even though they don't serve your food. The total for the three of us was $32.15
The previous four times I had been there, they gave a small basket of tortilla chips to me, and one to the person I was with, but today they gave us one basket with about 15 tortilla chips in it, for all three of us to share. When I said "Don't their orders include chips as well?", the response was that you only get one basket of chips per order. "So, if I hadn't paid for their lunch, they would have gotten their own basket of chips?" Yes.
I'm just trying to understand the logic here, if we each pay individually we get our own basket of chips, if I pay for everyone we get 1/3 as many chips. Look, I never complained about paying $0.50 for a cup so I could have water with my burrito here. I've always tipped, even though they don't serve your food. But I asked why we didn't each get a basket of chips, when we always did in the past. I didn't say anything rude, I joined my co-workers with our (small) basket of chips and quietly talked while we waited for our food.
They call my name at the counter, only instead of having our orders ready, they said something like "We're returning your money, we want you to leave." I'm absolutely baffled at this point; I'm not sure what I asked, but it led to the guy in the kitchen going on a tirade about how anyone expects him to make money selling $2 tacos and that the chips cost him money. I said "I just paid $32 for lunch." Then he actually started swearing at me and my co-workers as we were leaving. Owner/cook: unhinged.

Unfortunately we didn't get to even experience the complete service as we were asked to leave before the fulfillment of our order because we inquired about what seemed to be a different policy on number of chips baskets per order. The cook became argumentative and rude yelling in front of other customers, refusing to serve us in the end after we had already sat and were waiting for our food. He showed disrespect not only towards us as customers but to fellow coworkers and the otherwise good image of the establishment.

Flabbergasted is all I can say. Since the summer, this place has been on the decline, both in service, cleanliness and quality. The last straw was the screaming belligerent owner. We went there lunch with a party of 3. We had always gotten corn chips with burrito's but since it was paid on one check we got a single basket of 10 or so chips for the whole table. When asking why, the answer was one basket per order, or shall I say per receipt. We explained that this was new to us then sat down to wait for our order. Within minutes we were told they don't want our money and was asked to leave. The owner/cook started screaming at us (with a full house of embarrassed patrons) how we were busting his balls for chips, he cant afford to give out free chips and on and on. While we simply had asked cordially, his response was to blow up, and become very belligerent, rude and abusive. A very strange and surreal experience. To add insult to misery the place has become filth ridden.

Awesome fresh and authentic. Definitely will come back here. Good beers on tap coupled with super tasty tacos makes for a Hella Good meal. See what I did there? Try the carnitas, you won't be let down!

Authentic Mexican food! Cute hole in the wall with amazing food. The gentleman at the counter ( the owner I think) was super nice and helpful as I had no idea what to get. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area.
