Five stars for the overall experience. Great modern decor, one of the friendliest and most helpful servers I have ever had, craft cocktails, and, one of the best Asian-inspired shortrib dishes that I've ever had. Didn't need a knife!

First off. The whole decor of the restraunt was spot on, and the chairs in the lounge made me feel like I was on a lazy-boy. The limeade I had to drink was even better, To top off my experience here I had a delicious entree. Would definitely recommend.

I visited Walter's for dinner while on business in Maine. I find the restaurant to be in a great location and the atmosphere was great. I ordered the scallops (SCALLOPS brown butter cauliflower puree, golden raisin balsamic emulsion, bacon braised big leaf spinach, crispy onion pedals) but substituted the cauliflower purée for mashed potatoes and removed the bacon out of the braised spinach. I think the main flavor of the dish was still relevant. The scallops were properly cooked and the golden raisin balsamic emulsion definitely emulsified the dish. Service was good. I'd recommend it but I'd probably not return because of too much bacon on menu. I have a pork allergy and ordering from a kitchen filled with bacon is risky business for me.

Incredible food. Great atmosphere. You will not be dissapointed, just be prepared to try something different.

Went with 4 friends who ordered all different dishes for lunch. Every one of us found out food delicious. I ordered a salmon sandwich on a brioche with a spicy sauce. It was the special if the day and was fresh. Taste was out of this world.
