Very light and buttery pastries with custard or almond paste inside - the kringle was definitely my favorite. Also had the cinnamon pastry and diamond - all of them were great and reasonably priced! The coffee was pretty good too!

Definitely will be back...just went yesterday...might have to go again today! :P

Awesome on permits made artisan breads and pastries, great coffee and fair prices, friendly helpful staff enjoyed 4thyhis place a nd brought home two big loaves of old world bread:)

Excellent quality baking here. My only complaint is that on pizza night, one of their pizzas they loaded with spicy chilies without mentioning this on the menu. No offer to correct this or comp the uneaten pizza.

The croissants were comparable to those in France. So buttery and delicious. I had a roast beef sandwich and the portion size was bigger than I anticipated. The bread of the sandwich was very hearty. The bakery is in a super fun and hip area of Portland. I have found a great new place to take my family when they come to visit!
