We are out-of-towners and we chose into this restaurant, walking along Alberta. We are happy we did because the food was delicious. My favorite was the Greek salad. I probably wouldn't get the BLT again but I will try a different item. Their menu is very vegan and gluten fee friendly as well

Best Diner for vegan food in Portland. It's great because on top of almost everything being vegan they also give your job vegan friends options for adding real cheese or meat to their dinner. They also have a really cool eclectic vibe with a full bar. Totally recommend to everyone.

Place seems to have great reviews but I thought it was far from good. Staff seemed unfriendly; especially the guy sitting people in. The food took forever to come and when finally we got our dishes we were very disappointed. I didn't liked my breakfast at all. It was absolutely tasteless, coffee was bad and cold. The only thing I liked were the steamed veggies, they were more like roasted veggies. Flies in the restaurant are also a turn off. The restaurant feels like a filty place. I wouldn't come back not recommend it. Very disappointed.

I don't live in Portland, but I have been many times and I love it every time, so I'd say I have pretty high expectations going into new places. Today was my first time trying Vita Cafe and I must say it completely exceeded those expectations! With a very comfortable and welcoming environment, and the service was most exceptional! My server was Forest and he was by far the greatest part of the experience! He was so patient with my indecisiveness and gave me wonderful recommendations, one of which I decided on and was not disappointed in the least bit, the food was incredible! Between the quality of the food and that of the service, there isn't anybody I wouldn't recommend to go to Vita Cafe! I myself can not wait to be back!

After going here twice and trying a variety of dishes, I can say that this has become one of my favorite restaurants. The staff in incredibly kind and attentive. The food is fresh, original, and scrumptious. Plus, the ambiance is just the cherry on top. Great pricing for the serving sizes and quality! Will no doubt be back again.
