Food was solid, but not extraordinary. Except the ribs which were oddly cooked (they tasted poached, or boiled), and lacking flavor. The burger though, is as good as they say. Our biggest complaint is that we had a 5% surcharge added to our check for their employee health plan (which we were not advised of prior to dining), in addition to the automatic gratutity of 18%, (for a party over 6 people- we had 7). All told we were charged an additional $88 dollars on a $383 check- (total came to $471)- for indifferent service. (Also, we noticed that the extra entree the server brought out by mistake, was not subtraced from our bill).

BEST burger and Yakuza roll ever!! Really nice staff and comfy upscale but not pretentious atmosphere.

Absolutely love this neighborhood restaurant. Great food and atmosphere. I recommend the scallops, they are my favorite!

Really loved the food there during our trip to Portland. We ordered the burger, fried chicken, and Pear Jalapeno roll. Everything was absolutely delicious! And we were pleasantly surprised when we got the check as It was much lower than what we pay for similar meals in San Diego.

First came here 3+ yrs ago. One of our favorite places in our NE neighborhood. Unlike several restaurants that have been inconsistent we can honestly say we've never had anything bad here. Food is always great. Small plates, reasonably priced for the consistently high quality - delicious. You can go here whether you're vegetarian or not. Great sushi selection. Tasty ribs & nice salads. Pleasant inside or out back on patio.
Service great. Good place for a date, out of town guests or quick bite. I saw the ratings for Yakuza & thought I have to speak up. Our server was Erin tonight told her we'd give em a shout on line.....
