I rented a car for a week here recently. This is a great location easily accessible from the airport via the MAX light rail. Price was great, attendants helpful. In addition, I forgot a nice bag belonging to my wife with some stuff inside, and the desk agent took her own time and mailed it to us in Arizona free of charge! all in all, a great experience.

This morning, my prepaid one day car rental was denied after Budget refused my Visa debit card. After ignoring me, the rude and mean tall blond lady gave me a card and a post-it with phone numbers to contact both Budget and Equifax. Are you pulling my leg or are you serious?
First, my debit card has sufficient funds and secondly my Equifax credit score is considered "good". In the past, I rented from the old SW Lincoln St. location without problems. This afternoon, I am calling Budget to get my money back and give my Fastbreak membership back. It is time to move on.
The gentleman who desperately tried to help me should be attributed more than zero star. Working with such a lady in such a poor office environment has to be a nightmare.
Because of her lack of empathy, professionalism, I will contact the BBB and I won't ever recommend this rental agency and location to anyone. If there were zero or no star available, I would choose this fair option. With regret, I picked one star. In short, terrible customer service. Shame on Budget!

When I returned my rental I was told I owed $0, but was later charged $76. When I tried to call multiple times, no one was available at this location. The national office told me the charges were for supposedly returning the car 25 minutes early. I didn't know returning a car early was a problem and am annoyed I was never noticed of this. The best part...my gas receipt from moments before my return is time stamped after my supposed return time. It seems forging time stamps to get money for early returns is ok at this Budget location. The national office finally refunded me calling it a computer glitch, but it seems shady to me.

I wish I could give zero stars. Horrible customer service. Front desk lady doesn't even try to work with you when there's an issue with your reservation, just says, "I can't help you."
