I've attended RSPUMC for nearly 25 years. It has one of the most open and generous congregations in the State of Oregon.

Stop on by this lovely church if you:

- Value relevant conversation that takes the Bible seriously without taking it literally
- Believe that it is important to listen and honor others' views
- Enjoy honest and creative learning dialogue in a climate of tolerance

I'm a Methodist and I believe that God loves everyone. Christian, Buddhist or even Atheists. The story of Jesus in the temple with the "Money Changers" comes to mind. Jesus was really angry at them for their unethical practices, even though they were considered to be good Jewish men. I think God would be much happier with an Atheist that treats his people with kindness than he would be with a person that calls himself a Christian but treats others unkindly or unethically. God is above and beyond our earthly ways. He doesn't care what church you go to, what political party you join or what country you live in. He sees what is in your heart.

How Many People In The World Post On-Line Reviews For Churches? Not Many I Bet. I Walked Into This Horror House A Few Weeks Back And Discovered A Bunch Of Posers Who Do Nothing But Put On Heirs. And Several Snobby Elitists Who Did Nothing But Stare At Me From The Other Side Of The Room.... I Tried Talking To Those People To No Avail, And Some Other Boneheads Get Up And Fiddle About While The Preacher-Man Preaches.... How Rude Is That? This Church Is Way Too Liberal I Think. NO SIR, I DO NOT LIKE IT !!!!
