The service from the valet to the front desk was awesome. We booked a king suite and they bumped us to a king premiere suite. So great. The room was super clean. The theme of the room was pretty bad. The place was soo busy. There is a bird pattern on the walls in every room which did not go with the furniture. Each piece of furniture was a different pattern and color. I started to get nausea.

Great boutique hotel in downtown PDX. Stayed here for one night with a friend and had not stayed at this Kimpton hotel before. The hotel allows pets and goes out of their way to make them feel special, including a welcome sign with their name. Was surprised when I saw a guest there with their pet pig, but then remembered it's Portland and quirky is what makes it special. The "social" hour in the lobby is nice as well.

The staff is the best! Great recommendations, helpful and attentive. The decor is different/interesting. The location is centralized to a lot of things. The social hour is a real treat. We are here for a week & it was a good choice.

Funky and eclectic design aesthetic coupled with great customer service. The suites are clean and roomy, without being overstuffed or tacky. Central location and easy valet service make this a great hotel destination for the visiting folk. Also recommend Red Tavern restaurant that is connected to the hotel. The food is pretty good. There are a few issues with the “late night menu” in that you may have to call a few times before you get through to someone who knows what is on the menu for that night. Mini-bar was stocked with locally sourced snacks which was a nice touch as well. Will definitely recommend this hotel for a getaway with a loved one .

Our stay here had been great.the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located within walking distance of lots of restaurants and activities. It had been a very enjoyable stay.
