I will never be able to figure out the algorithm Por Que No has on their ratio of number of tables to people waiting in line but SOMEHOW it works! While there's typically (always?) a line out the door, it moves fast and there's always someone there asking for your drink order well before you get to the cashier. The tacos are so delicious and the margaritas are to die for. Like I said there's an abundance of seating (my favorite being the indoor patio out back-- heated in the winter!) and the place has a cozy and nice feel to it. One of my favorite casual dinner spots in Portland.

My friends said I should check this place out. Challenge accepted! The decadent smells play throughout my nostrils like a fresh spring morning in the Swiss Alps. I could not just have three tacos. I got 4. I can't wait to poop these suckers out so I can enjoy them once more. Too bad I got them with haute sauce...

You almost always have to wait... But it's so worth it. So very, very worth it. Best house margaritas in Portland, hands down! The new tamales are much better, thinner. Always great vegetarian options and usually a few good vegan options.

Yum!! As a native from Mexico City I say this is pretty close to authentic (which is very hard to find in the U.S. -even parts of Southern California). Quality of ingredients is superb. The quesadilla is actually made with Oaxaca cheese which is hard to find in a lot of places (and it's actually good quality Oaxaca cheese, not the bland kind). Ambiance is colorful and lively. Truly in my top 3 food places visited in Portland so far.

I like this spot it's extremely popular especially in summer worth the wait in line tacos are good same with guacamole YUM! Back patio looks inviting but the big front windows being open to the street keeps me inside. Fast service. Only one margarita at a time so jump directly to the register if you want more than one. Very big so one was plenty! Made with fresh lime juice yay!
