Fun place to discover Oregon wines without having to fight the Newberg and Dundee traffic.
Excellent food as well.
Honestly I am trying to figure out why this place isn't even more crowded and busy. My only guess is it is located in Beervana Portland. How can wine compete? Give it a try. You might just love it.

It completely blows my mind how this place isn't more busy. It has reliably been the best restaurant in Portland since I've started coming here a few years ago. Most places disappoint me, but Althea's food is platonic form of perfection. The dishes are light and filling and somehow always the perfect size to make me feel full but not stuffed. I've been around the town when it comes to restaurants, but nothing comes close to the Southeast Wine Collective.

Love this place. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff, great wine, and a unique and chill space. Can't go wrong!!

Be sure to try the wines from 51 Weeks Winemaking. A true hidden Portland gem with a great startup story from local owners.

Cozy neighborhood wine bar. Great place to try lots of wine and get educated from the staff. I find that the people who work here aren't snobs and are more than happy to talk to you about wine if you are a novice. They also have a nice wine club with different price options and lovely food options to go with your wine. Food wise I'd definitely recommend the deviled egg flight!
