It has been hard for me to find a salon/stylist here in Portland. I just got my haircut at Fancy and it was a great haircut, Heather was very kind and knowledgable about cutting hair, she spent the time needed to do a good job and didn't seemed rushed.

Rachel Peterson is the hardest working and most talented stylist I've met in Portland. I have visited her for two separate occasions, and each time I'm blown away by her dedication and professionalism. I have very thick, dark, course hair. It's challenging for stylists to work with. Rachel took special care during our appointment to treat my hair with the best quality products to ensure the results would not only be beautiful, but maintain the integrity of my hair. It's important to enter any salon with realistic expectations, hair is an unpredictable science. You can't walk out looking exactly like the Instagram picture you show your stylist every time. But Rachel did her absolute best to give me the results I wanted. She spent 7 solid hours working on my head, and I am so happy with the outcome. She's a color specialist with a heart of gold. Love you, Rach! Keep rockin' babe.
P.s. Always tip your stylist at least 20% or you're a piece of whale feces.

Rachael is fabulous! About a year ago, I went in with my hair past my waistline, and ready for a dramatic change. Rachael worked with me to decide on a length that wasn't too drastically different. I loved the result. But my hair grows very fast, and I went in a couple of months ago, ready again to completely change my look. I showed her a photo of a style I wanted. But once again, Rachael asked me to consider certain aspects of that intended look (face shape, maintenance, etc.), so we, together, decided on a modified version of what I had impulsively envisioned. She's so danged smart. I was completely happy with the cut, with the manageability, and the look. And I didn't go through a single withdrawal symptom of wanting my old hair back!!! Thank you, Rachael, from a very grateful Rachel.

The other day Krystal gave me the best haircut! If you have curly hair - I HIGHLY RECOMMEND going to Krystal!!! I've never had a haircut where I don't have to harshly manipulate my curls to make them look presentable. Krystal cut my short, thin, curly hair based on the natural shape of my curls and the shape of my head - a true artist! It's so incredibly difficult to find a person who can cut curly hair well, and Krystal did an amazing job - I'll definitely be back! I was also provided styling tips and hair care tips, it was so helpful! Thank you Krystal!!!
