I have been in the veterinary world for almost 8 years now and I have worked many places, this clinic was by far one of the best. It took me a while to realize this but the clients are amazing the staff always friendly and compassionate, and as for the doctor she will bend over backwards to help a patient and/or client in need. I don't currently work at this clinic but I would still recommend them to anyone in the goose hollow or sw portland area.

These people do not care about your animals. They would rather preform tests and try random methods that they know won't help just to get you back in for a checkup. I had to literally argue with the vet to get my full medical history for both my cats. I had to go and personally request for them or transfer all history from previous vet. The staff are either rude or uncaring. The front desk people don't know what they are doing. My cats are genuinely afraid of them and I do not trust them at all. I request to watch everything they do. Also, do your research because they will try to take advantage of you through asking for needless testing. I am looking for a better quality vet that actaully cares about aniamals not money.

I love Goose Hollow Veterinary Clinic. I wasn;t sure I would stay after Dr. Tesser left but I am so glad I did. The Dr. (owner I think) and David the tech saved my Queen Feline's life. We weren't sure what was up and the Dr. found out it was diabetes. I was devastated. I live for Miss Missy I wait on her hand and foot. She is my alarm clock, she is hilariously demanding, and she is my favorite "person" LOL. David taught me how to inject the insulin perfectly. I followed all of their instructions. She was in remission after two weeks. She has been diabetes free for over a year. The women at the front desk are amazing. They order her prescription food monthly and always have everything ready for me when I go in to pick the designer food. (they all know Miss Missy likes the morsels not the pate. I am so grateful for all of the people who work there. Especially the owner/Dok and david and all who help me carry the 31 cans of food out to my car. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I had nothing but good experiences with this clinic. My dog was a rescue and so he had some issues as well as being older. Dr. McKinney new I was on a tight budget and so she would discount some of the lab work or not charge me. As my dog grew older, so did his health. It got to the point where both Dr. McKinney knew the next step would be hospitalization with no guarantees of outcome. Dr. McKinney took the time to talk to me about all the possible outcomes. I knew in my heart I would have to put my dog down. Dr. McKinney understood the pain and guilt I was feeling and constantly reassured me I was a good "mom" to my dog and I did everything I could to keep him well. After my dog passed, I got a wonderful sympathy card. The techs were very good with animals and seemed to really love their work. The only complaint I have is there seemed to be a rather high turnover at the front desk and the people hired did not seem to know what was going on. It is for that reason I could not give it 5 stars, but will take my pets back to this vet.
