I called a few minutes ago and who ever picked up the phone last put me on hold. I was on hold for seven minutes before I hung up then called right back know the machine says they are closed. Real professional.

None of the staff will make you aware of this but Dr. Leahey is deaf/hard of hearing and/or mute. Generally, I would like to think this is not an issue. But the way that Dr. Leahey approaches his clients makes this difficult. As I stated, the staff did not make me aware of this so the Dr came in to give me an exam and I said hello, of course there was no response. He just went right to work. He said nothing the whole time. Of course I thought this was weird until I caught on.
The issue I have is that there seems to be no plan/system in place to enable the Dr to communicate with his patients. He explained in hand gestures that I had a cavity (which freaked me out because I first thought he was saying he needed to extract a tooth). He could communicate via writing or have his staff facilitate but neither was used.
I found the staff to be fine. I had trouble communicating with the women at the front desk when trying to get a price for my fillings. The dental hygienist was so-so. He was disrupted several times during my cleaning to talk to/help other staff. Once a women asked him for the x-ray smock and he handed it to her, promptly putting his dirty gloves back in my mouth. He stopped every few minutes to type on the computer, again using the same gloves in my mouth.
I had wished to discuss my jaw pain with the Dr but obviously, there was no option to communicate with him. I made my pain known to the hygienist and I recorded it on my patient record.
Maybe you are someone who doesn't get anxious at the dentist. If so, maybe this place will work for you. If not, or if you wish to communicate with your Dr, take your business somewhere else.

went to office in woonsocket and the dentist was very nice and kind to me.wait was a little long but worth it.pulled my tooth and i didnt feel anything.didnt know he was done

Had some work done, nice office great staff. Office was clean and staff was very informative. Made me feel like family. I highly recommend them.

Last year I had to remove my wisdom tooth right away and I didn't have any insurance. I called most Dentist Offices but they were too expensive then I heard from a friend that City Dental did most procedures without insurance so I made my appointment. At the appointment I ended up paying less than $200 dollars for panoramic x-rays, fix up, tooth removal, and cleaning. Dentist was very polite and staff was very informative.
