North Providence Urgent Care

People go to urgent care for usually simple quick fix things. Like i have a sinus infection it is a sunday and well the primary care upstairs is never reachable to make an appt.
Ive been here 1.5 hours . it is NOT busy. There were 2 people waiting when i got here and they waited a long time also. I just need some antibiotics and a c ya later. This is ridiculous and i am shocked the state let's this place keep its doors open. They are not here to treat people who are sick or injured.

The primary care is AWFUL!!!! and I didnt even get past the waiting room! Receptionists were rude when I booked my appt, I should have known then. I came in and asked then if I had to fill out paperwork being new she said oh you're new? I waited for an hour, my appt was at 1 went to the desk to see what was taking so long, I have a child to get from school! I was told I'd be called in right away at 145 but left at 2 when I was STILL sitting there. TWO other people were called in before me, 3 people were in and out for whatever reason and walked away from the desk mad and swearing because of the office staff. A man next to me had been there 2 hours waiting and said its always like that. So I decided to save myself a lot of hassle and walk right on out. A patients time is important as well and they don't care at all.. Completely pissed I wasted my time!

Lady at the receptionist desk was rude, waited for 7 minutes to even be acknowledge despite empty waiting room. Waited 2 weeks for labs and then had to call myself for results

I know it was last minute but i showed up 5 min before the posted closing time of 8 p.m. to find the doors locked. When i called to ask wjy the doors were locked i was told that they lock automatically at that time. Funny cause i made the call from right outside and could tell from how old the doors were that the receptionist lied to me about the automatic door locks. This was my first amd last visit to this facility. Im not an unreasonable person so i understand people want to get out of work and resume their regular life but your in the medical field people dont plan on being ill amd needing their services. I would have shown up earlier if i could have. I showed up durring their hours of operation and should have been treated. Lying to me on top of that is totaly unprofessional.

The absolute worst medical establishment I have ever stepped into!

I was there this past Sunday 6/25/17. There was a doctor working the back and no one else. No medical assistant, no nurse, no EMT. I overheard someone saying no one was even on the schedule that day to assist the doctor. Really!?!? There was an X-ray tech who did his best to help out and even went into his own car to get me a bottled water because there were no cups at all to be found in the place.

Then, I look around at the dirty floors, overflowing trash, and numerous equipment that I kid you not is literally taped/held up with scotch tape. The X-ray room and equipment is like something out of a horror movie. Very outdated!!! The machine kept making a weird loud screeching static noise every time the X-ray button was pressed. The lead shield that they put around the waist looked extremely worn, dirty, had no stick left in the velcro and kept detaching off my waist. One major safety hazard! Lastly, the hot water in the restrooms was turned off and there were no paper towels stocked. I mean seriously, who runs this place???

The doctor was nice and seemed very knowledgable. The secretary was also very personable. Other than that I would never recommend anyone stepping into this highly disorganized, unkempt facility!
