The Parlour is a dynamic place with a good selection of draft beers, and some liquors and wines. They try and keep the food as organic as possible, and they do a good job, but they don't try too hard to create some craft menu.
What they are about is a place to watch some good Jazz/Blues and soak in the best of a somewhat neat, somewhat gritty Providence arts and craft culture.
Check out their jam session night each Thursday and see for yourself. I believe it is every Thursday, or second or third Thursday of the month. Breath in the beauty of a movement just getting started in building a jazz/blues community in the Creative Capital.

Terrible!!! I ordered a margarita on the rocks (cannot drink beer, so limited) just saying the drink had absolutely no flavor of tequila at all. It was like a pintglass full of sour mix. Overpriced for subpar quality drink. The local open mic guys were decent.

Great music, large crowd, everyone had fun but I would love to have more options for food.

This place is always popping on the weekends. Sometimes there is live music going and it is very enjoyable. It goes late and i always have a good time. If you wanna kick back and dance this is the spot. It has very unique atmosphere. I recommend dressing casual and relaxed.
