I liked the diversity of the 75-ish people in the congregation (ethnically and age-wise). There were families and single people and older folk. All the men had on suitcoats and ties so I felt a little under dressed as a visitor. The sermon giver really knew his Bible. I was sad to see no women led the meeting or gave a sermon and that there was one comment very antagonistic towards the science of natural selection and evolution which I found a bit abrasive and dismissive of how many feel God created the diversity of life. People seemed sincere in wanting to follow God and very polished.

If you're looking for a very conservative diverse little group to study the bible with they may be worth a look but I've heard they completely shun members who "waver" in their faith, and they require a lot of hours of missionary work, and dissuade against higher education so be aware of that. Looking into the religion further it appears to follow much of the BITE model (Beavior, Information, Thought, and Emotional control) for controlling people which is unfortunate.

Also, wow, the little kids were so quiet, haha. Like how do they do the parents do it? Most churches I'm at where kids are in the congregation are pretty noisy, haha.
