When I went in for my initial checkup and consultation, Mikelle was fantastic! She was so kind and even though she had a lot of work to do on my mouth (sorry), she made it as pleasant as possible, constantly making sure that I was comfortable and that I wasn't in any pain. She also very thorough in showing and telling me everything she was doing and when she thought it was best to do a more thorough cleaning she went and checked at the desk to see how much my copay was and was able to inform me of all costs and the benefits of doing that, which I greatly appreciated and wasn't surprised at the end when I had a copay! I met with Dr. Ball on my first visit since Dr. Broadbent was unavailable and he was so kind and nice and very quick! He wasted no time in telling me what else I needed done and informing me in laymen terms what he was seeing.
My followup appt, I met with Dr, Broadbent and we had to do a filling (always floss and see a dentist every year, not every 6 years, kids!). The process was PAINLESS AND PRETTY QUICK, all things considered. He numbed me up and once I was clear of all feeling on the side he was working on, he got straight to work, and got through it pretty quick (mind you it was only 2 fillings). Even better was when the numbing wore off, I had very minimal pain (I was a little sore, but more from keeping my jaw open so long). I also appreciate how Dr. Broadbent requested a scan of my jaw so as to better evaluate if I really needed my wisdom teeth out immediately. Overall, the experience at The Dental Center was incredible! I really appreciate how cared for and invested in as a patient! Everyone is so friendly from when I walk in the door to when I walk out! I LOVE THIS PLACE and won't be going anywhere else as long as I live in Utah County!!

Dr. Broadbent is a great dentist! Everyone is so friendly and I've never waited long to be seen. I highly recommend The Dental Center!

I have been an unfaithful dental patient. A wanderer, who has gone from dentist to dentist for more than 30 years. I have showed no loyalty, generally just making an appointment with whoever happened to be closest or most convenient at any particular moment.

Needless to say, I have had a lot of dentists stick their fingers in my mouth. So I think I can speak with some authority and from a position of knowledge as I write this review.

I went to this dentist office and was seen by Dr. Ball because I was referred there by a local business group that we all belong to. Frankly he was the most convenient option at the time.

My back tooth had broken in half, the crown had fallen out, and it was a mess. Dr. Ball spent the next year and 3 months rebuilding my tooth step by step in a manner that I found to be highly impressive.

Firstly, most dentists would have just pulled the tooth, and been done with it. However Dr. Ball suggested that we do an implant. In researching implants, I read a lot of horror stories from people whose dentists had rushed the process, and done their implants in a few visits.

Dr. Ball flat out refused to do my implant quickly. It just wasn't the right way to do it, and he wasn't going to put me at risk. At each step he let my jaw and teeth heal properly,and took great pride in his work.

Frankly it was fun to watch how much pride he took in his work. This will sound cheesy, but he was like an artist. If something wasn't just right, or perfectly done, he wouldn't accept it. He took lots of xrays, and more than once said "darn, I missed something, I am going to do this again..." The things he missed were minor, like a little indent that I couldn't even feel with my tongue but these things were important to him. He wanted everything to be perfect.

I don't think I will ever go to another dentist again. Why would I! Dr. Ball is hands down the most caring, professional, and talented dentist I have ever been to.

And I have been to a lot of dentists!

Great place! The dentist's and staff are very friendly. Dr Broadbent does a great job of numbing kids. My 5 year old felt nothing! We've been coming here for years and I highly recommend this place to my friends and family.

I've had nothing but good experiences here. Dr. Ball is amazing, and has treated my husband and I with so much care. The hygienists, assistants, and front office staff are wonderful as well. I'll never go anywhere else as long as I live in Utah/Salt Lake County!
