It was great...the guide was terrific. My Grandmother worked here as a nurse for MANY years...She dearly loved the people she served....

Wonderful museum! The guide has worked here for quite some time and tells many stories from her own point of view. I love how transparent the hospital and museum is about it's history and how they have drastically improved in their methods. If you're looking to gather information on how insane asylums were ran 100 years ago, this is the place for you!

An interesting, though small museum that explores the history of what was then the Utah Insane Asylum as well as the (often sad) treatment of mentally unwell individuals from the late 1800's to today. The curator Janina was very knowledgeable and kind. Free entrance.
