Life gets busy and often we don't have or make time for changes. I know this was true for me, for years. Several moves, new jobs, new insurance, new states, and trying to keep any routine was important. That is how I ended up with Wal-Mart pharmacy for over a decade.
They had my info on file and I would just tell them my old store and state. But over time, that convince became a hassle. This led to a desire for better, for more but knowing that was unlikely.
However, in 2017, my husband had to get a new medicine and this rite aid was the location it got called in at. (As I recall). And after a few trips for his meds he was telling me how quick and easy working with the pharmacy here is. I was curious and joined on a trip and seen why he was raving about them.
No matter the time of day, the amount of customers or anything else, this store/ pharmacy can be described in two words; pleasurable/ impressed.
The pharmacy staff has always been kind but also so knowledgeable. I've never felt an ounce of judgement or hesitation from anyone. Cannot say the same for all places.
It is common to see when someone is having a rougher day. I know numerous times I've been to dinner and you can see the waiters and waitresses are slammed on time and while they smile and try to be kind, their faces show the stress. I've done customer service so maybe I recognise it easily from them but I also know that it is different at this rite aid. I know they get busy, but it doesn't consume them and their poker face is strong. I've never once felt like I was an inconvenience or being rushed. To be honest, it is refreshing having that.
The pharmacist Jessica is so sweet but in the non condescending way. She is rather knowledgeable but never superior with it. Class. Class is how I would describe her. I really enjoy not just getting my meds but taking a few moments to talk to the person, we are human after all and more people need to remember that instead of treating people as servants... that is a two way street and 774 rite aid does that.
While I could brag all day how I love the pharmacy, it is only part of the fun. The store cashiers are always kind and our frequent Sunday routine let's us work with Samuel. He in appearance reminds me of grandpa Winchester but much less stern. We have chatted several time about general needs for shopping but he shows a genuine interest in the details. When I was seeking a certain chocolate, he was rather interested and informed. He also has been great with getting us in the right direction and finding best prices.
I really do love this store and the smiles we get are warm, not the business standard of most places that seep " id rather not be here." A common phrase in my home is, " people quit managers, not the job." I certainly hope rite aid never falls into that pit because these rite aid specialists are not only experts who do the brand good and I hate change but also companies should always try to keep the amazing when it finds them.

Edit: forgot to add the prices. So excited about the staff that I forgot the finance. When leaving walmart I was concerned of the prices because I know that they change from not just store to store but those in the same town. However, I came in under expectations.
For what I usually can spend for just a few of my meds at walmart, I was able to get those and a couple of husbands and a nice deal on Aleve ( name brand! Not generic!).
Love it!

They have some great weekly deals, but things sell out fairly quick. Pharmacy is good. A bit more expensive than others.

It is the one place I count on to carry an unusual shampoo or makeup. Clean, well organized, mostly fair prices. It's so easy to get in and out. They have a perfume cabinet that will take you down memory lane from 6th grade to High School ‼️
