Went to Hertz, to get a replacement car due to a car accident. When I go in to get my vehicle, they find a car and take me out to get in the car. The associate begins getting info off of the car and as I walk around the vehicle I see the front and side bumper was detached. I told the associate and he said not to worry about it because he was going to take a photo of everything. I then proceeded to tell him I didn't want a car that was damaged and he persisted to say it wasn't a big deal. I told him that I will not leave this place with a broken car and he exhaled loudly and went in to go get me another car. He then went out and got another car and I saw no damaged. He has me sign and says have a good day. The vehicle I ended up with, was not properly cleaned as I noticed once I left. The pictures posted are from that vehicle. I called the location for no one to answer. I went onto Twitter to express my concern and a Hertz rep asked for my info and said the local manager would contact me. I haven't received any notification from the manager 9r that branch. PLEASE CHOOSE ANOTHER LOCATION FOR YOUR RENTING NEEDS!

Edited from yesterday: I had the car for less than 24 hours, drove less than 30 miles and Tire Pressure warning light came on. Pressure in both front tires was 10-12 PSI lower than it needed to be. Do not rent from them. If your insurance company selects them, demand somewhere else.
The front desk people were nice. The driver was an hour late to pick me up from the auto body shop. They had scheduled to have me picked up at 8:30, we called at 8:40 and Hertz said they were on their way. At 9:35 he showed up, insisted he wasn't late and that I was wrong and that everyone at the Auto Shop "was a liar" and they "lie all the time." Got to the shop, took a while to get the vehicle. They did not complete a walk through to inspect the appearance of the vehicle with me (for previous cracks/dents/etc). Instead they washed the car while I was waiting. Now that the water has dried, I can see scrapes and dents all over the car. I have called several times to talk to someone, but of course, they don't answer their phone.
I literally wouldn't have taken the car if the process to be picked up and obtain the vehicle hadn't taken two hours, making me late for work.
I would never tell anyone to use this place.
The dudes at the front were nice though!! At least there's that!

I picked up Kia Soul from this location. Firstly, the customer service was slow. Secondly, the car that I picked ran out of battery when I stopped at a rest area for 5 mins. When I called them, they weren't apologetic at all. I had to call AAA and was told the car's battery is "no good" , "dead". They jump started the car for me, however I was asked not to cut the ignition off else it won't start again. I wasted 3 hours including waiting for AAA, and exchanging cars at another Hertz location which gave me a dirty /dingy car. Overall, I would give 0 starts to Hertz @ Capital and 1 star for Hertz overall ( because they were willing to exchange the rental)

If you want good customer service, don't go here. They didn't give the car they promised, and when you try to exchange it for the right size, they say they will call you back. However, do they call you back? Of course not. They're cars have mechanical issues. Imagine that. The cleaning guy outside looks like he does a good job and works hard. Maybe they need the customer service people outside to learn a few things from his work ethic. Go ahead and throw in a mechanic while you're at it.

My insurance company had made a reservation for me at this location while my vehicle was in the body shop due to an accident. They sent a gentleman to pick me up and drive me to their location on capital blvd. The vehicle he picked me up in reeked of cigarette smoke and was filthy both inside and out and after we proceeded down the road the guy decided to start looking at his phone while driving. Thank goodness we finally made it there I went inside and the place looked run down and nasty there was one person working the front desk he didn't greet me or anything there were also three other people ahead of me and he only waited on one of them while I sat there. So finally after waiting around about 30 minutes without even being acknowledged I called my insurance company and had them switch my reservation to Enterprise rental car right next door and I was in and out within 10 minutes far more professional and superior service to Hertz. I'd absolutely avoid this place if at all possible.
