I am out on maternity leave and needed financial assistance while awaiting to return to work. I was referred to them and truly they are/were a blessing. I was told to bring in my information. I was only expecting for a minimum amount of assistance. However, the amount given was more than enough. They are true Saints of God's Work. They did not discriminate, use judgement, not interrogate. And once it was all done they handed me another blessing. Even if its limited I will forever be grateful.

Okay, call it cheating because I'm a pastor here, but God does incredible things through this church.

Edention Street United Methodist Church ECP is a good program for your children to be in a safe environment. Most of the younger classes are great. I have heard other moms say the Monkeys and Lions are not as good (teachers are a bit 'snarky').

They do have a good reputation and I think serve the needs well for stay at home moms who just need a little breather. I think working moms should reconsider ECP unless they have a great nanny/afternoon situation. (Another family left ECP for the same reason of them not being very amenable/friendly to working moms)
