The congregation was warm and welcoming, and I felt joyfully, not forcefully invited to attend the following week's celebration of the Good news. The church is relatively small, so this would be a great church for someone looking to get to know their pastor and spend time with her (yes, they have a female pastor) outside of church. Importantly, the pastor's Christ-centered yet non-alienating homily was based in the Gospel, and was applicable to everyday life. I gave this church 5 out of 5 because it has all the elements that I consider most valuable in a faith-based community.
