I have a 6 year old who has autism and struggles with extreme anxiety and sensory issues. Dr. Shireman and her staff were amazing with my daughter. They listened to everything I had to say regarding how I felt would be the best way to approach examining my daughter. Dr. Shireman was willing to work with us to make my daughter feel comfortable and be cooperative. She is very knowledgeable, has a great bedside manner, and is great with the kids! I am very happy that I found a dental provider that considers me and equal partner in my child's care.

I had moved to the triangle area and was in need of a quality Dentist. I truly believe I've found the best dentist in the research triangle.
Dr.Shireman and her staff are the embodiment of medical professionalism. The office is clean, The staff are extremely attentive and kind. She's worked with me through insurance, and payment plans. She values her patients as human beings, and not as just a means for a living.
Oh! and the quality of the crown, and composite fillings I have received.

Have seen them recently; found them very inefficient and unprofessional specifically on the administration part. I'm seeing all other reviews going out of the roof: making me think if they have been written by friends/family members. Or the other plausible explanation would be that they have had changes in their administration.
Do yourself a favor by looking elsewhere for the sake of saving your time by not dealing with inefficient, highly unprofessional staff.

My wife introduced me to Dr. Shireman and her staff. I am forever grateful. She is an amazing person, wife, mother and dentist. As long as she is in practice I will continue to use her for all my dentistry needs. Anyone looking for a dentist in the Raleigh area be sure to call her and schedule an appointment. You can't go wrong.

I just had my first appointment with Dr. Shireman and was very impressed with everything. First off the office itself is nice and modern, comfortable waiting area. My hygienist Kristen was very thorough and friendly, I had never had my gum pockets around each tooth measured and she explained everything she was doing very clearly. She talked to me about home practice and things I could be doing differently that would be helpful. I also love that they are a holistic practice and used a natural toothpaste on me. Dr. Shireman was very friendly and knowledgeable as well! Happy to have found this practice!
