I've been going here for a long time now, I like the receptionists and I like the nurses. I have seen nearly all of OG docs here multiple times that have been here for years and here's my take on the ones I know.

I've seen Dr. Steffens and Dr. Huang (plus a PA twice). Both doctors are fantastic...I feel they really care about me...I didn't feel rushed and they explained everything so I could understand. I also like that if I need to see someone right away, the practice has PA's that are always available for same day appointments if my regular doctor(s) are not available. There are also walk-in acute appts some evenings and Saturdays. The staff is always friendly and patient with me.

While listening to hold music for over 28 minutes on the phone, I had time to read through these negative reviews and they are all accurate! I’ve been a patient for years and tell myself I have to find a new practice every month after I call for my monthly prescription refill and sit on hold for at least 15 minutes every single time. Or after allllllllll that waiting, it hangs up on you! All the doctors and PAs are GREAT (I’ve seen multiple), but any interaction with the front desk staff is extremely time consuming and frustrating. Calling to schedule an appointment, get a monthly refill, or for any reason is unreasonably time consuming. And no matter what time of day it is, it’ll always be at least an hour of waiting in the dingy waiting room before you’re seen, even for something super simple and routine.

My review is not in response to the patient care by physicians, but rather the admin staff, but more specifically patient medical records. As a financial adviser, I needed to obtain medical records for a client to process their request for life insurance. I followed all the guidelines required to obtain the records, however the time frame to receive them took much longer than normal. I attempted to call several times, but only received a voicemail which no one returned my calls. Upon reaching someone after 3 weeks, the woman was extremely rude and constantly cut me off. Hopefully their admin staff is not a direct representation of the care administered here.

Dr. Avery and her staff are GREAT! I really appreciate all that they have done. They are caring, considerate and compassionate. Thank you all for making this a great practice
