I had a long term foot problem due to diabetes and Dr DeWitt was an absolute angel. She and her staff always treated me very well and I am a very satisfied and happy patient of hers.

Dr Dewitt is a wonderful doctor, and I would recommend her highly.

Her staff however, or at least some of them, whoever is in charge of medical records, is very uncooperative and obstructive.

when you request OFFICIAL records to be sent to a doctor, the staff will refuse, and tell you to share your own personal copy, which may or may not be legallly acceptable when applying for disability

Dr. DeWitt was a fabulous physician. As a nurse, I have very high standards for the physicians who care for me. Dr. DeWitt was thorough, she consulted UNC colleagues on my complicated situation. She was knowledgeable about current treatment. Her staff was flexible with appts and that is vital for a busy working person. I can't say enough good about this practice. Individualized care is rare in the orthopedics world. Dr DeWitt and her staff treated me with respect and tailored the care to my situation.

Our past experience here has been terrible. Our appointment was at 3 and we weren't seen until 4:45. Besides having to wait a lifetime, we were also forced to sit in a waiting room with a receptionist who was anything but nice. She continually raised her voice and showed no concern or care for the patients. When we asked her when we would be seen her only reply was " I don't know but you can leave if you'd like". The experience was very bad and I'm suprised someone like that is still hired as a receptionist. The overall care for the partients would cause me to change my pediatrist.

Great experience. Dr. Dewitt took the time to talk with me and really hear me out. My only regret is that I went to someone else first and wasted 3 months.
