I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this office. The staff is wonderful and very pleasant both while in the office and when scheduling appointments over the phone. They are always able to get me in quickly and accommodate my available times. Dr. Patel is quick to get you back to the exam room but extremely thorough when he sits down with you. He really cares about my well being in its entirety. You can tell when you speak to him that he became a doctor because he wants to take care of his patients. I am so thankful that the new Dr. Patel is just as wonderful and thorough as the last. I have referred many friends to this practice and all of them have nothing but wonderful things to say as well.

I cannot speak more highly of this Primary Care office. They were able to get me in for an establishing care appointment within a very reasonable time. The office is in a great location and I was pleasantly surprised on the time it took to get me back to see Dr. Patel. He was thorough and listened to my concerns without me feeling rushed. Being in the medical field myself, I was very impressed and comforted by his knowledge. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to establish a primary care physician.

‘Truly exceptional’ is the phrase that comes to mind when I think about my visit with Dr. Rakesh Patel this past week. Aside from his remarkable skill and expertise in the field, the quality that left the most tremendous impact on me was his compassion and concern for my well-being. I came to Dr. Patel after a series of unfortunate life events led to high anxiety (we all have our moments 😬...#StopTheStigma). Dr. Patel was able to squeeze me in on the fly and was incredibly patient as I recounted all of my life’s stressors over a box of tissues. His bedside manner was warm, attentive, and understanding. What impressed me the most was when Dr. Patel himself followed up with me later that day just to check and make sure I was feeling okay. In my long 30 years on this earth, I have never had a doctor reach out to me directly just to check on me. What outstanding service and speaks volumes of his character!

I know many of us were deeply saddened over the unexpected loss of Dr. Vijay Patel, and I had high expectations for the doctor whom would take over the practice. But let me tell you - Dr. Rakesh Patel has exceeded all I could have imagined and I am honored for him to be my new primary care physician. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Short wait time - I never waited more than 5 minutes. Kim even offered me water while I waited!
Cleanliness - Beautiful, clean office located right near downtown Raleigh. Convenient location.

Don't waste your time, don't trust any of the past positive reviews. Dr Patel passed away unexpectedly, and this new doctor refused to continue my treatment, he referred me to a new doctor and never told me that where he referred me intended to completely take me off my medication.
I asked for another referral and have been refused and discharged from their practice. Stay away!!!!
Find a practice that still has patient health as a top priority! The new Dr. Patel doesn't come close to the original.

Vijay was my doctor since I moved to Raleigh in 2007. He was wonderful. He passed away in 2016. I just went in to follow up on some injuries acquired while out of town. Whoa. The new Dr Patel wouldn't take me serious. Dismissed my old injuries and kept asking me about alcohol intake. Really?

No, just no. This is not the practice that took care of me. Vijay would never have treated me the way this doctor did. He didn't look at my file and told me that I don't have chronic pain. Nevermind the x-rays and all the info in my file. Treated me like trash, even looked at his watch. From what I can tell Vijay's staff has been dismissed.

This experience was like the stories I have heard about pain patients. It's all in your head......you don't have anything wrong with you. Go away. I'm still stunned. Vijay's name needs to be removed from the practice. I will be lucky to find another gp as supportive and compassionate as Dr Vijay Patel.
