We have been going there for over 20 years (back when they were in North Hills) and there is absolutely no one I would trust more with my kids than Dr Munt. NEVER has the office people been less than cordial. This is a very established practice with physicians you can trust.

What is not to love? Great Location. Covered Parking. The office is on the first floor of a building that offers nearly every specialist you should need. The waiting area is modern, clean, and fun for kids. Samples of useful items and stickers are abundant... all of which is irrelevant because the staff, nurses and doctors are amazing. We tend to see Dr. Schmitt but have seen Dr. Joyner and a few others and each has helped us AVOID MEDICATION by ensuring our kids get and remain healthy. I feel like the advice we get at White Oak Pediatrics is invaluable and We always feel valued and never rushed. We are always impressed by the after hours phone service and weekend hours.

The doctors may be great. It is the people you come in contact with at the front desk who are the primary issue for this office ,including Sabrina who claims to be the person who runs the office. Ive heard many similar issues from other parents , the front staff is rude, very unprofessional, not in anyway punctual, horrible grammer, and the front desk likes to gossip about things that are not appropriate at the work place and not for parents and children to over hear. The manager is well aware of these issues but instead she rewards her staff for thier ignorance and doesn't take appropriate action nor listen to what parents are saying about this manor. Take your Child to a more professional office to receive better interaction and sympathy from staff.
*horrible parking & uncomfortable waiting room for kids, very tiny no other room for sick children. A trip here is an all around bad experience.

My new insurance wasn't going to be taken by my current pediatrician. So I was fishing aunt for a new doctor as I am due with my second son December 29. After driving 40 minutes... the front desk woman was absolutely RUDE. She was mocking me with the other ghetto front desk woman and laughing at my questions. Couldn't provide me with a vaccination schedule...and they don't have a sick and well area for kids under 1 year??? They are all in ONE tiny waiting room?? The walk from the parking garage to the office would have been impossible two days after giving birth. I walked out with tears in my eyes.
Thank god I got the email today that my current pediatrician will accept my new healthcare for 2017.

Dr. Joyner is wonderful. Upon entry into the room, she recognizes us (the parents)and she speaks directly to our child allowing him to express how he is feeling and what is wrong. She ask great probing questions and makes him feel empowered concerning his medical treatment. Additionally, Dr. Joyner is interested in the whole child and communicates with the parents to get a more through understanding of the our child's overall health (mental, physical and social). I highly recommend Dr. Joyner.
