I too had a terrible experience with them after an awesome relationship for over 10 years. Something changed in 2014 when Garrett Haney left.
Never will do business with them again...

I have used Ellington & Associates for 10 years but recently their service took a significant turn for the worse. I am flabbergasted by the poor quality of services I have received lately from this firm and will not be continuing my business with them.

One of the agents there, Donna, may actually be mentally challenged. I doubt it though, how could you let someone who is retarded answer your company phone lines? Once she let my policy cancel because she didn't forward the check I sent her to the insurance co for THREE MONTHS.
While this was going on she wasn't returning my phone calls, when she finally did she explained that she had been in the hospital b/c she had "really bad diarrhea" for the last week. I asked if she was serious and she told me how her colon was backed up. I cancelled my business with them and washed my hands. That was the most unprofessional experience I've ever had.
