first citizens bank charged my account for a deposit mistake of 1 cent. charged me six dollars. do they pay a fee if a teller makes a mistake?? no!!!! this is bank policy now. i have banked with them 20+ years never had this happen. who ever came up with this should be fired!!!
also their voice mail is designed to not let you speak with a real person. this is terrible customer service!!!!!!!!!

I have tried calling countless times to get a lien release on my boat, to apply for a lost title. I keep getting passed off from person to person, and I've been waiting for weeks for a resolution. Every time I call they say they will handle it. They always tell me they will call me back, but never do. When I finally get tired of waiting, I call back to check on things, and they will have no record that I even called, and will have to "start the process all over again." I don't know how to obtain this lien release from this bank. I may never be able to sell the boat, due to the misinformation, the evasiveness, and the disorganiaztion & absolutely no cooperation from this bank whatsoever. Sad in NC!

This branch is conveniently located on Fayetteville Street Mall. For anyone who works downtown, it is centrally situated so you can walk inside or use the ATM machine outside. The Tellers and Customer Service Representatives are kind, helpful and informative.
