I refinanced with North State bank 7 years ago and was very pleased and happy with the process. On the banking side, they actually "walk the walk" when it comes to being a "relationship" banker. I enjoy my relationship with them and appreciate having a bank that is a true "hometown" bank that actually enjoys waiting on the customer instead of trying to get the customer to self-serve.

As a tourist this bank was rude and flat out unwelcoming when I asked if they could exchange three $100 bills for smaller currency.
