The food was good. I was taught to start with the positives.
I really detest giving less than excellent reviews but I would have liked to known what I was getting myself in to. The reviews of this place are so favorable that possibly we expected and excellent all around experience. That is not at all what we got.
My friend and I selected this highly recommended location to celebrate her birthday. As it was a Friday night, I called to make a reservation. I was told that for two it wasn’t necessary but that since I was already on the line we could go ahead and do it. The employee was pleasant. I spelled my name out for her after confirming the date and time. I provided my phone number.
We arrived at the restaurant and SURPRISE! No reservation. That wouldn’t have been a huge deal except the hostess was less than polite about it. She all but called me a liar and insisted I didn’t make a reservation. I even checked the phone number to make sure I called the correct restaurant.
This set a particularly bad tone for the evening as she also had no clue what the wait time was. She insisted there was only one reservation for that night and it wasn’t ours. Ok....so.....what’s the wait? No clue.
We were seated in less than 10 minutes but received no service for 15 minutes. We did not hold the waiter accountable because I’m pretty sure the unwelcoming hostess failed to mention it to him.
The restaurant is loud. The kind of loud where the server reads the order back to you and it’s completely wrong. I’m not talking about an accent issue, more like a let’s scream the order to get it correct.
The food was good. Not great. Just good.
There is a chicken quesadilla appetizer that was worth revisiting and the dim sum was awesome.
The calamari was “meh”, average and the loaded tater tots were a disappointment. “Stuffed” is a more appropriate adjective for them but really tater tot isn’t accurate at all. More like “Giant, cheese stuffed potato puff”. I think I would have enjoyed them if my expectations had been set for something other than a tater tot. They were also served with marinara sauce.
Overall, it was okay. I will not go out of my way to eat there and I’m pretty unlikely to recommend it.

i take occasional lunches at this establishment throughout the workweek and i must say, its always spot on. The varieties of soup, and pizza are excellent, the waiters and waitresses are by far the best in town. Would give a 6 star but 5 is all i'm allowed. 10 out of 10 by far

As a person that never writes reviews I felt the absolute need to share my experience. So we've been out enjoying our night and feel the need for some food and we head to the Pointe. We get there at 9:52pm and ask what time the food stops and they tell us at 10pm. Instantly I'm ready to not order food, it's way to close and I don't want to annoy anyone but the manager is adamant that we should order and so we go ahead with 2 pizzas. The bar tender makes us a pint of margarita and I can hardly believe the dream I'm in. The pizzas come out in good time but the one we want is the wrong pizza... To be honest I wasn't bothered I was grateful I get to eat anything so we tuck in. Half way through the pizza the correct pizza we ordered turns up!!!! The kitchen staff saw the mistake and made us another pizza AT THE END OF THEIR SHIFT! we got a free pizza, food we were lucky to get and an epic drink. Never have I seen every single staff member kill it. 5 stars is not enough

Nice place and good pizza, they take too many time to bring things to the table
