Samantha did an amazing job and was a lovely person to spend a few hours with while getting color, cut, and style. Also for all those curly girls out there, Samantha has naturally curly hair and KNOWS how to treat your curls. Mine came out looking better then ever!!

I just moved to Raleigh and have been to the same stylist for 10 years so I was a bit nervous, but Alter Ego immediately impressed me in every way!! I was greeted nicely by the receptionist, they poured me a glass of wine while I waited and the whole facility was beautiful! Laura was my stylist, she was so kind and so knowledgeable and I love everything about my cut!! She did an amazing job and made it such an awesome experience, I will be back soon!

I'm not a Raleigh native. So three salons and multiple disaster haircuts later, I decided to try Alter Ego. My first trip to Alter Ego went well! I wanted to cut my hair short during that visit, but Mandy convinced me not to just yet since I was new to the salon and she wanted to build my trust. That was a great call. She gave me a good cut and I felt comfortable going back.
So now on the second and most recent visit I was with Dana (she was the only stylist available on the day I wanted). I decided to take the plunge and chop off 11" of hair to donate. Dana was amazing, went above and beyond my expectations...and way over our allotted appointment time. She put a lot of time and thought into my hair and was ridiculously meticulous to make it perfect. From having a ton of thick hair to chopping it all off and even taking some clippers to the back, this was a very fun experience. The wine helped too! Thanks everyone, I'm glad to have found a great Raleigh salon.

I had a wonderful experience at Alter Ego! They have a really cool space and atmosphere. Dana is the absolute best! I had long hair that went down to my waist and just got it cut to my shoulders. It was a big a change for me but I am in love with my new hair! I would highly recommend Dana and Alter Ego for all your hair needs!

I had long hair that went below my shoulders and after reading different Google reviews decided that I wanted to go into Alter Ego and finally get the pixie I had always wanted. My stylist was Shayla M. and she was fantastic. We discussed which cut would be the easiest for me to maintain and would of course look good. Shayla talked me through each step to make sure I got the best pixie I could get and it looks awesome! I live almost an hour away from the salon but I'm definitely wanting to go back when it comes to needing a trim just because of how nice the staff was and how great my hair looks and feels.
