My wife, daughter and I have been going there for a couple of years now. The service is amazing and we have had no issue with the staff, they are great people.

Horrible experience! My kid was super scared and they have no patience for children AT ALL! Never have I ever encountered a dental hygienist telling the dentist what to do! They put a filling in that fell out and caused an infection. Then try to refer us to a speacalist to get a baby tooth pulled! My insurance doesn't pay for a speacalist! And to get a tooth pulled? CRAZY! I was treated like I was a piece of you know what! I work for the state and don't have to go to them! Next dentist! If you love your kids I would not take them here!

A year ago, I went to Access Dental in Redding due to some tooth pain I was experiencing. After taking x-rays and examining my teeth, they diagnosed the problem was due to a filling falling out. They replaced the filling and did a 6-month cleaning and evaluation. The dentist claimed the rest of my teeth were in good condition. Six months later, I went back for my bi-yearly cleaning/check up. The dentist claimed I had 13 cavities. 13! I said, "Excuse me, I take better care of my teeth now than I have ever in my life and I have 13 cavities?" Needless to say, I left without any other dental work done. I then went to a well-known dentist in Redding for a second opinion. Following a 90-minute evaluation using the latest dental technology (lasers that evaluate a tooth's decay, computer programs that determines the probability of tooth decay reaching the dentin layer of teeth via x-rays), the dentist in Redding said he saw no need for any cavities to be filled.
Secondly, I had a tooth pulled several years ago on my bottom right side of my jaw. Access Dental pushed quite hard for me to get an implant because my opposing tooth would eventually work it's way out due to no resistance when I bite down. However my new dentist said there is no need to get an implant because my upper tooth actually hits a separate tooth when I bite down!
Needless to say, I'm done with Access Dental. I would give them 0 stars if possible. Whether it's greed or inexperienced dentists, I do not know. However, from my experience, Access Dental does not put there patients first. For that, I will gladly spend money somewhere else that does. I easily would of spent $7K+ there between the implant and fillings, ALL which would of been unnecessary. Go to Larry Watts, DDS. They will do you right.

Staff was kind, gentle and excellent. I cant say enough about how great Dr. Mallari is. He saved my tooth and there was no pain involved with the procedure. Id recommend them for all dental needs!
