Overall, I really give it 4 1/2 stars. I got the chicken fried steak. It was a fair portion where other places might give an oversized piece of meat. I was OK with that. Gravy had good flavor and did not seem to have any meat in it. The eggs were a perfect over medium with the whites completely cooked. Service was good and though it was crowded, I was alone and got seated quickly. My one complaint is that my toast came dry. Waiter promptly brought butter.

Great place! Always stop here when traveling I-5. We were somewhat disappointed with dinner on this night. My wife has to eat butter for her diet, and the restaurant had no butter (real)! She also ordered the "wild salmon", but when served we could see that it was NOT wild, but farm raised! Wild caught salmon is at least pink, and this was white. On the other hand I had to chicken pot pie, and it was great! Although disappointed this time, WILL be returning...just watching what we order next time...and we'll bring our own butter.

They were so nice here! I loved the atmosphere and the staff's attentiveness! We grabbed a few postcards, a souvenir coffee mug, and a doggy bag! I'll definitely be back! :)
